It is under construction now beside the existing one behind Georgetown ToyotaThe question is: would you like it to simply say Town of Halton Hills/Halton Region? Or would you like something a little more artistic like the Tilbury tower in this photo? The Halton Hills Cultural Round Table is proposing we use this great white canvas to project a more creative image of our town. I would be interested in your opinion. You can find many examples by googling " artistic water towers"
I think a more artistic look to the tower is a terrific idea. It would certainly present Halton Hills as a community that supports the arts, and as a unique place worth visiting. Thanks for promoting the idea on your blog.
ReplyDeleteYes, if it's tasteful. Perhaps a graphic of the Credit River flowing around the tower, with occasional monuments of interest and woods poking up.
